Connect the legacy files.
Custom PHP parsing and database imports turn FTP files into data the application can report on.
PEARLCROP / CUSTOM WEB APPLICATION
I built a custom PHP application that gives growers access to their shipment and yield reports. It connects Pearlcrop’s existing FTP data with a database and uses the Google Drive API to make each account’s report PDFs available to view and download.

Pearlcrop’s shipment data lived in an older FTP file system. I built the PHP application to retrieve those files, parse the data, and import it into a database that could power the reporting portal.
Growers could sign in to see what their trucks had shipped, review their yields, and download the reports tied to their account. I also connected the company’s Google Drive through its API so customer report PDFs could be accessed through the application.
THE CONNECTIONS I BUILT
The application brings the shipment data and report documents together for the people who need them.

THE WORK, CONNECTED
A fully custom application connecting the company’s existing systems with reporting growers could use.

Account-based access lets growers review shipments and yields, filter their reports, and export the information.
